Core Values

At Fresh Fire Christian Academy, our core values are not simply beliefs, they are convictions that guide our culture, curriculum, and community. Everything we teach is shaped by the Word of God, empowered by the Holy Spirit, and grounded in a commitment to truth, excellence, and discipleship.  We partner with families to raise up students who are spiritually strong, academically prepared, and culturally impactful.

Expanding Core Values

1.  We Uphold the Name and Word of God
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and inerrant Word of God. It is the foundation for
all instruction, correction, curriculum, and life decisions. Scripture is integrated into every part of
the school day—through study, memorization, prayer, and personal application—so students
develop a life anchored in truth.
2 Timothy 3:16; John 1:1,14; Psalm 119:9,11

2.  We Are Unapologetically Christ-Centered
Jesus is not a subject; He is the center. We aim to reflect Christ in our teaching, leadership, and
classroom culture. Students are challenged to grow in the character of Christ through
instruction, correction, modeling, and daily life.
Galatians 5:22–23; Colossians 3:23; 1 John 2:6

3.  We Teach and Live a Biblical Worldview
We train students to see the world through the lens of Scripture. Every subject is taught with the
understanding that all truth is God’s truth. Our students learn how to discern cultural narratives,
apply wisdom and live faithfully in every area of life.
Proverbs 22:6; Romans 12:2
4.  We Honor the Family as God Designed It
We believe the family is God’s design for both spiritual formation and societal stability.
We affirm the biblical definition of marriage and family, support parents in their God-given role, and help
students understand how to honor and obey their parents. Our goal is to strengthen families
through partnership, communication, and biblical teaching.
Deuteronomy 6; Ephesians 6:1–4; Psalm 127:3–5

5.  We Affirm the Worth and Destiny of Every Student
Each child is created in the image of God and carries immense value, purpose, and potential.
We speak life over students and call out their identity and destiny. We strive to cultivate an
environment where students are seen, known, and built up to walk boldly in their
God-given calling.
Jeremiah 29:11; Psalm 139:13–16

6.  We Disciple with Dignity and Pursue Excellence

Our mission is to make disciples. We walk alongside students with honor and grace, teaching
them to follow Christ in every area of life. Excellence is not measured by perfection, but by
faithfulness. We pursue excellence because God is worthy of our best.
Matthew 28:19–20; John 8:31; Philippians 3:14
7. We Champion the Local Church
We believe in the power and purpose of the local church. FFCA does not replace it, we strengthen it.
Students are encouraged to stay connected, serve, and grow as members of the body of Christ.
We affirm the authority of Jesus as head of the Church and teach students to honor and love the Church as God intended.
Ephesians 4:11–13; Acts 2:42; Matthew 18:20

8. We Form Christlike Character in Every Arena
Character is not reserved for chapel—it is built in every classroom, rehearsal, competition, and
conversation. We teach students to embody the fruit of the Spirit, to take ownership of their
actions, and to lead with humility and conviction.
1 John 4:17; Colossians 3:12–17

9.  We Uphold Traditional American Values
We honor the blessings of liberty and the responsibility of citizenship. We teach students to
value integrity, freedom, personal responsibility, respect for authority, and gratitude for the
sacrifice of those who came before us. Students are introduced to the foundational documents
of our nation and are equipped to serve and lead in their generation with conviction and clarity.
Proverbs 14:34; Matthew 5:14–16; Romans 13:1

10.
We Steward Every Gift for God’s Glory
Every student has been entrusted with gifts, talents, and time that are to be used for the glory of
God. We teach students to live with intentionality, gratitude, and responsibility, serving others
and advancing the Kingdom of God with joy and excellence.
1 Peter 4:10–11; Luke 16:10; Romans 14:12

Where We Are Going

We are preparing students to lead, not just in the classroom, but in their homes, churches, and communities. Through the ICONIX model, Spirit-led instruction, and academic excellence,
we are raising up young people who are:
● Anchored in God’s Word
● Empowered by the Holy Spirit
● Grounded in biblical and American values
● Committed to truth, excellence, and service

We want our students to be Daniels and Deborahs in the world today:
young men and women who stand courageously for truth, walk in wisdom and integrity, and follow the voice of God even in challenging times. Like Daniel, we want them to live with conviction in a culture that doesn’t
always align with truth. Like Deborah, we want them to lead with strength, speak the Word of the Lord with boldness, and call others into purpose and courage.

At FFCA, we’re not raising students to survive the culture, we’re raising them to transform it.
